Core Competencies One element of the Leadership Development Program has been the development of “Core Competencies.” To the right is a list of the competencies which the Company believes are essential to leadership at all levels, and to general business practices to ensure our success now and into the future. Each competency has a list of behaviors that describe what the competency looks like. These core competencies are stressed throughout the Leadership Development Program, in SMART plans, in employees’ evaluation and in all internal messaging.
