Holidays The Company observes six (6) full-day paid holidays. The list of holidays can be found on the Intranet . Part-time employees scheduled to work at least 20 hours per week on a regular basis will be able to receive paid holiday time off on a prorated basis. In addition, the Company provides Company paid time off from Christmas Day to New Year’s Day. Leave of Absence Jury Duty Leave for jury duty will be granted in compliance with applicable law. Employees will be expected to give advance notice, supply a time verification slip from the clerk of the court as evidence of having served

and work as much of the day as possible for each day he or she is called to serve. Military Leave The Company will grant a military leave of absence for employees required to serve in the military or called to active duty in accordance with state and federal law. Family and Medical Leave (FMLA) FMLA entitles eligible employees to take unpaid, job-protected leave for specified family and medical reasons with continuation of BL health insurance coverage under the same terms and conditions as if the employee had not taken leave. When BL Companies becomes aware that an employee’s need for leave is for a reason that qualifies under the FMLA, BL will provide a notice of rights and responsibilities and place the employee on FMLA. If the employee is not eligible for FMLA, BL will provide a reason for ineligibility. Family and Medical Leave will be provided in compliance with applicable state and federal law. A copy of Family and Medical Leave legal rights is posted in each office. Maternity Leave Maternity Leave will be paid leave consistent with the Company’s short-term disability

BL Companies will provide up to two weeks of paid parental leave to Employee Owners following the birth or adoption of an employee’s child.
