The Coordinate System and Drawing Units need to be set correctly before importing any imagery 1. When using AutoCAD Civil3D a. Open the Toolspace dialog box b. Click on the Seƫng Tab c. The units should be Feet, U.S. Survey Feet, appropriate drawing scale, and appropriate coordinate system.
