Last encounter was in September during a race-for- kids event when my friend and I hadVIP access to Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) hospitality tent.

That’s Letterman in the background and we did get a chance to chat with him but didn’t dare to ask for photo – we rather had a conversation for just few minutes.

Of course, we got to meet the drivers – pretty much from half the teams racing as we could walk the pit(s) before & after the race.This was Monterey IndyCar Race.

I’ve been a Kip Moore fan since he released “Somethin’ ‘Bout ATruck” 2011. Shortly after his first album I got to see him as the first opener for Eric Church and Justin Moore.After his set, I was walking around the concourse and saw him standing there. He was just standing there near a cocktail table with a solo cup, just watching everyone mill about around him. I walked up and said “Hey Kip,” he was like “Hey Man” and we talked for like 10 minutes before we snapped the attached photo and people started realizing it was him. It was unreal.
