Tell us about yourself I live in the ‘Cape Fear’ region of Southeastern NC. I grew up in Colchester CT and went to Boston Architectural College. About 5 years ago my wife Sara and I decided to relocate to Wilmington NC, and last year we purchased a house about 20 minutes north of Wilmington in Rocky Point NC. We have a variety of animals (mostly rescues) – 2 dogs: Layla and Riley, 5 Cats: Hank, Frank, Hamilton, Nala, and our 3-legged kitty – Peggy Sue, 1 ball python: Julian, and around 30 chickens. Yes, the chickens all have names too. I won’t list them all, but here’s a few: Feather Locklear, Amelia Eggheart, Fluffernutter, Joan Jett.

What made you decide to come to BL Companies? I had been considering a change for a while and reached out to Barb Joslin, as we had previously worked together years ago at Tecton Architects.
