In case you don’t know, every October the ESOP Association and employee-owned companies like ours celebrate being an ESOP. BL uses this month to continue to promote our ownership culture, help strengthen relationships within the company, and increase awareness about our ESOP. We all work hard to make BL a great place to work and ESOP Month is a chance to celebrate. ESOP Month is full of fun activities, events, games, and culminates in a raffle drawing for some great prizes! Every time you participate in something, you earn raffle tickets - so the more you participate, the higher your chance to win! The theme this year is “decades”, so we have some fun, nostalgia inducing events planned. Each week will be themed after a particular decade, starting with the 70’s in week one and we’ll end with the 00’s in week four. This year will be our first hybrid year since the pandemic - so some of our events will take place in office, and some will be entirely virtual. Don’t worry if you can’t make it into an office, because we always have a virtual or DIY way to play along. To kick things off, we’ve assembled some amazing ESOP Month care packages, which contain everything you need to make your ESOP Month great! Unless you live super far from an office, we’re asking everyone to pick up their own care packages at their assigned office starting September 20th.
