social media or technology include but are not limited to video or wiki postings, sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter, chat rooms, personal blogs, or other similar forms of online journals, diaries, or personal newsletters not affiliated with BL Companies. These platforms enable users to connect, communicate, and collaborate through various forms of user-generated content, such as text, images, videos, and links. In the context of this social media policy, it encompasses any digital channels that enable communication and content sharing among individuals, both personally and professionally, with consideration for the guidelines outlined herein. Guidelines for Personal Social Media Use BL Companies takes no position on an employee’s decision to start or maintain a personal blog or participate in other social networking activities when the employee is on personal time. Employees are free to use social media for personal purposes, but they should exercise good judgment and be aware of the potential impact their actions may have on BL Companies’ reputation. Employees should: ▪ Not disclose confidential or restricted information on personal social media accounts. ▪ Respect copyright laws and intellectual property rights when sharing content. ▪ Clearly distinguish personal opinions from official Company statements when expressing personal views online. ▪ Be respectful and professional in all online interactions, avoiding offensive, discriminatory, or defamatory language. The Marketing Department manages BL’s social media accounts and those Marketing employees are responsible for careful and responsible message distribution. While all other BL employees can be advocates for BL and the BL brand, such employees are not authorized and, Representing the Company through Social Media
therefore, prohibited from speaking on behalf of BL Companies. We expect all our employees to: ▪ Follow the Company Cyber Security and Confidentiality Policies ▪ Inform the BL’s Marketing department when planning on sharing major types of content ▪ Report any false or inappropriate online messages about BL Companies ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) POLICY Artificial Intelligence refers to the development and implementation of computer systems or software that possess the ability to perform tasks which would typically require human intelligence. Generative AI refers to AI tools that “can generate new data or content on their own” versus AI tools that analyze and organize existing data. The purpose of this policy is to: ▪ Ensure that AI technologies are used ethically and responsibly. ▪ Safeguard sensitive information and data privacy. Through this policy, we aim to foster a culture of responsible AI usage by enabling BL to leverage the power of AI while protecting against potential risks. We will continuously review and update our AI practices and policies, including this policy, and adapt to changing technologies and industry standards. Employees must use AI in accordance with all policies found in the Employee Handbook.
