Driving Safety Tips” video also posted on the intranet. · Prior to using a Company vehicle for the first time, an Employee must familiarize himself or herself with all the features of the vehicle. This includes the following: · Radio, wipers, headlights, signals, hazard lights, mirrors, heating, defrost and AC. Employee should sync up his or her phone with the Bluetooth system. A “How To” Guide is posted on the Intranet under the Safety Tab. Signing Out a Vehicle Prior to using a Company vehicle, every Employee must reserve the vehicle and sign it out. The process for doing this is as follows: · Download the office vehicle calendar into the Employee’s outlook. Directions on how to do this are on the Intranet/Documents & Resources/Software Library & Resources/Outlook/Vehicle Calendars. · Reserve the vehicle by filling in full name, anticipated duration of time the vehicle will be out and location on the calendar. · If a change takes place during the time the vehicle is out, the Employee should adjust the calendar or contact the Fleet Manager so he/she can adjust the reservation. After Using a Vehicle If the vehicle is a pool vehicle, upon return of the vehicle, the Employee must do the following: · Fill the gas tank before bringing it back to BL. · Remove all personal objects. · Throw away all trash. · If the vehicle got dirty, clean it. · Take the vehicle to the car wash on an as-needed basis. Routine Safety Procedures To minimize the risks associated with driving errors, the following safety procedures have been established. These apply to all vehicles being driven for Company business. · Drivers are responsible for operating a vehicle according to state and federal laws and Company policy. Violation of these laws and rules may result in the removal of driving privileges. · No Company vehicle shall be operated if it is in defective or unsafe condition. If an Employee discovers a defective condition, he/she must report it to the Fleet Manager. · Every Employee must have a valid driver’s license in his/ her possession and should immediately notify the Human Resources Department if the Employee’s license

Purpose The act of driving places heavy demands upon an Employee’s alertness, judgement and motor skills. The consequences of driving errors made by Employees can be costly to the Company, but of even greater importance, is the potential that exists for serious injuries or death to Employees, coworkers and members of the general public. The purpose of this Section is to educate all Employees on the safety procedures to be aware of when operating a vehicle. Scope This Section applies to all BL Companies’ Employees and all Company operations. Policy It is the policy of BL Companies to keep its Employees as safe as possible by educating them on proper safety procedures when operating a vehicle, as well as maintaining its fleet of vehicles on a routine basis. Use of Company Vehicles Company-owned vehicles are to be used for Company business only and for the intended purpose for which they were designed. Personal use of a Company vehicle is prohibited. Personal trailers, including boat and recreational vehicles are not to be pulled unless for a Company purpose. Company vehicles may be driven home and used as transportation to and from jobsites only when approved by the Employee’s Supervisor. Employee Training / Orientation Upon hire, each new Employee is required to: · Upload a copy of their valid driver’s license to the Paycom documents portal. · Watch the Driving Safely Training Video located in the Paycom system Onboarding Checklist. · Take the assessment prompted by the video and upload the certificate following the assessment to Paycom. · If the new hire will be driving one of the Company’s trucks, the Employee must also watch “Top Ten Truck
